Shareholder dispute and provisional administration
The matter
Where two shareholders come into head-on conflict, the life of the company comes to a halt. The company in question held substantial real estate assets, and the growing discord between its shareholders had paralysed every decision, placing at risk not only day-to-day management but the very value of those assets. The court appointed a provisional administrator in order to preserve the interests of the company and to prevent a quarrel between individuals from destroying a sound asset.
